Day - 02: Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. (Optional tour is, Nathula the Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only) Day - 03: Gangtok to Pelling  Morning transfer to Pelling (133kms / 5hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a very small Himalayan Town in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motorable point of Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise along with view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight at hotel. Day - 04: Pelling Local Sightseeing After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in and around Pelling. In the fast half covering Rimbi Falls, Rock Garden, Sacred Kechodpalri Lake, and Kanchendzonga Falls. After lunch followed bythe second half of the days sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim), Rabdantsay Ruins (2nd Capital of Sikkim) & Sunset Point Overnight at hotel. Day - 05 : Pelling to Kalimpong Morning transfer to Kalimpong (105kms/04hrs), another quiet hill station in Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. So it is requested to follow the time given for local sightseeing and transfers properly There are  number of Joy Ride services in Darjeeling. Joy Ride tour covers Darjeeling – Ghoom – Darjeeling ( 14 Kms) route and takes almost two hours to complete . Joy ride starts  at 8 AM in the morning.  Darjeeling to Gangtok takes 4.30 to 5 Hrs Darjeeling Ropeway timings are 10 AM to 2 PM in season and 10 AM to 4 PM in off season.  If Vehicle is to be kept waiting for Ropeway ridings in Darjeeling & Gangtok, then halting charge will be extra HMI and ZOO are closed on Thursday.
