Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Kalimpong (75kms/03hrs). Another quiet hill station in Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Check in hotel rest & overnight at Hotel in Kalimpong.
Day - 02 : Kalimpong Half Day local sightseeing and transfer to Gangtok
Morning after breakfast followed half day Kalimpong local sightseeing covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and flower & Orchid Nurseries Dr. Grahams Home, Delo View point and Kalimpong Market and drive to Gangtok [70 kms/ 3hrs] at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Day - 03 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After Breakfast start for Gangtok local sightseeing , covering Hanuman Tak, Ganesh Tak, Tashi view Point ,Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms along with Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kargyupa Sect – one of the four major Tibetan Buddhist Sect & finally Flower Show. Day - 04 : Excursion Tour to Tsongo Lake ( Changu Lake) & Baba Mandir
After breakfast day tour to Tsomgo lake ( 12400ft) or Changu Lake, which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. Day - 05 : Gangtok to Darjeeling
Morning after breakfast drive to Darjeeling (120kms/4hrs), once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in.
Day - 06 : Darjeeling best points local sightseeing
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga ( Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel.
