Tour Details of Pelling - Gangtok Holiday Package 

Day  01: Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Stn (NJP) to Pelling
 
Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Pellng, (136kms/5hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a small Himalayan village in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motor able point from Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 3rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise along with spectacular view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range.


 
Day 02:  Pelling Sightseeing
 
After breakfast start for Pelling sightseeing covering Rimbi Falls, Rock Garden, Sacred Kechodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls, Famrong water falls, Pemeyangtse Monastery, Helipad, Pelling Sky Walk etc. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03 : Pelling to Gangtok via Namchi - Chardham
 
After Breakfast transfer to Gangtok ( 133 km / 05 Hrs). En - route visit Namchi - Chardham. Located at an altitude of 5500ft,  Gangtok - the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

 

Day  04 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit  Hanuman Tak, Ganesh Tak, Tashi view Point, Bartuk Water Falls,  Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms , Bonjhakri Falls,  Flower Show etc. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day  05 : Excursion Trip to Tssomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
 
After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

Optional tour is Nathula. The Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only with an extra charge)

 

Day  06 : Gangtok – Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP )

Morning Transfer to IXB/NJP ( 117kms / 4hrs). Tour End
