Getting Raimatang / How to reach Raimatang :  Raimatang can be approached by road only. Tourists travelling by train should get down at Alipurduar junction( 45 kms) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or NJp ( 170 kms) to reach Raimatang. The nearest Airport to Raimatang is Bagdogra Airport or IXB ( 182 kms). Journey towards Raimatang through Tea gardens and forest is quite interesting. The last leg of the journey passes through rugged river bed. Smaller vehicles find difficult to cover the river bed.
