Ghoom Monastery ( Yiga-Choling Monastery) Ghoom Monastery or Yiga-Choling Monastery is the oldest Monastery in  this area. This famous monastery was established by a Tibetian Astrologer Lama Sherab Gyantso in 1875 and it belongs to the Yellow Sect of Buddha who worship 15 ft. tall ‘Coming Buddha” or “Maitreya Buddha”.
