Soon, 5 km Coffee Trail for Tourists in Kalimpong

Tourists in Kalimpong can now enjoy a unique 5 km Coffee Plantation Trail in and around Sangsay Kharka Village, inhabited by about 50 families engaged in Coffee cultivation and Orange grafting. 

The trekking route will be launched by a group of local youth. The founder of the group said, it was a moderate trail at an altitude of 4000 mt, which needs five to six hours of walking. The trail begins from Sai School Playground at Sangsay Village and has the picturesque Kanchenjunga in the background with marigold blooming along a 2-km stretch.
