ELEPHANT  FALLS : 

12 Km away on the outskirts of Shillong, among the cheerful bloom of colourful Rhododendron and sonorous chirping of variety of birds, Elephant Falls is a fascinating place where a descending mountain stream bifurcates into two high falls. The rocks around the falls are covered with ferns. It’s also a popular spot for picnic. Beyond the Elephant Falls upper and lower Elysium Falls are also visible.
