Built in over 50 yrs ago, Shillong Cathedral is the most prominent among numerous Churches scattered in Shillong. It is the largest Church in Meghalaya. Shillong Cathedral is known as Cathedral Church of Mary Help of Christian. The Cathedral of Shillong is a heritage building and is known for its beautiful architecture. Shillong Cathedral is located on the site of the first Church of Meghalaya, built by the Germans in 1913.
