Day 01: Paro Airport to Thimpu  

 

Welcome on arrival at Paro (7200 ft).and transfer to Thimpu (57 kms/2.5 hrs/7800 ft). Evening free for leisure.  Over Night at Thimpu

 

Day 02: Thimpu Local Sightseeing.

Morning after breakfast starts for Thimpu local Sightseeing covering (Memorial Chorten, Emporium House, National Library, Handicraft Centre, Cherry Monastery, BBC Tower, SAARC Building & Bhutan’s Secretariat- The famous Dzong . Over Night at Thimpu.

Day 03: Thimpu to Paro  & Paro Sightseeing.  

 

Morning transfer to Paro (57 kms/2.5 hrs/7200 ft).After lunch Paro Local Sight Seeing covering National  Museum, Airport (Only Airport of Bhutan situated on the Banks of Paro Chu- In Bhutanese language Chu  means River, Dungayal Dzong, Kichu Resort Valley. Mt. Chomolhari (7,300m) reigns in white glory at the  northern end of valley. Over Night  at Paro.

 

After breakfast visit Chele La.Chele la separates Haa and Paro valley and at 3810m, it is one of the highest motor able pass in Bhutan. The drive till here from Paro is through dense spruce and larch forests according to the seasons. On a clear day, there are spectacular views of Mt. Jumolhari, Jichu Drake and adjoining peaks to the North West, as well as the view of Haa and Paro valley. Overnight at Paro
