Sikkim Tour Package Itinerary of Gangtok - Lachung & Lachen ( North Sikkim ) - Pelling Tour : 07 Nights - 08 days

Day 01: Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok

Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (117kms/4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Gangtok to Lachen ( North Sikkim)

After breakfast pickup from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachen ( 123 Kms ) and located at an altitude of 8600 ft. En-route visit at Tashi View point, Naga Water Falls, Sighik View point, Chungthang Valley. Evening free to explore the beautiful Himalayan village by your own. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Visit Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung

After breakfast leave for Gurudongmar Lake ( 17,200f t), Thangu ( 13,000 ft.) and Chopta Valley ( 13,200 ft.). Thangu Valley is a broad valley at the junction of Thangu Chu, Chopta Chu and Lassur Chu. In the spring end to summer months Rhododendrons, Primula and many other Alpine flowers are in full bloom. In the winter months you can play in the snow or even walk over frozen rivers. The unspoilt beauty of the area will take breath away. Come back to Lachen for Lunch. After lunch proceed to Lachung. Enroute see the beautiful Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Arrive Lachung at Late afternoon in the evening & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Lachung.

Day 05 : Visit Yumthang Valley and Transfer to Gangtok

Early morning after breakfast start for half-day excursion trip to Yumtahng Valley, en-rote visit Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary.Some photographs of the natural scenes of Switzerland and Yumthang valley are very hard to distinguish. Yumthang, which is at an altitude of 12,000 ft., is situated about 135 km from Gangtok. April and may promises colorful flowers & Orchids, where as November end to March usually sees snows, Transfer back to Gangtok. On the way visit Bhim Nala Water Falls, Twin Tower Water Falls. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day - 06: Gangtok to Pelling

Morning transfer to Pelling (133kms/5hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a very small Himalayan Town in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motorable point of Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise along with view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight at hotel. singshore bridge pelling, sikkim

Day – 07: Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in and around Pelling. In the fast half covering Rimbi Falls, Rock Garden, SacredKechodpalri Lake, and Kanchendzonga Falls. After lunch followed bythe second half of the days sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim), Rabdantsay Ruins (2^nd Capital of Sikkim) & Sunset Point . Day - 08 : Pelling to Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

Morning departure Transfer to IXB/NJP (136kms/5hrs). Tour End.

If Vehicle is to be kept waiting for Ropeway ridings in Gangtok, then halting charge will be extra Gangtok local sightseeing starts 8.30 in the morning For Tsongo Lake & Baba Mandir tour vehicle reports before or on 7.30 AM at hotel. If guests can't catch the vehicle by that stipulated time, then they will have to go to stand on their own, because from 8 AM to Evening 7 PM vehicle movements are restricted. Only Luxury vehicles, ie. Innova / Scorpio/Xylo can operate after the before mentioned time Nathula Pass permit issues by Indian Army on the very day of the journey depending on the border situation and road condition. If permit obtained then the extra cost, whatever is actual to be paid in Gangtok before starting the journey Nathula closes on Monday & Tuesday Yumesamdong ( Zero Point) visit is always subject to Road Condition North Sikkim Tour start by 8.30 AM Always carry Original Photo ID Card while on tour
