Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Kalimpong ( 75kms/ 2.5 hrs), another quiet hill station in Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight in Kalimpong

 

After breakfast Half Day Kalimpong local sightseeing, covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and flower & Orchid Nursaries and Kalimpong Market. After lunch transfer to Gangtok ( 85 Kms / 03 hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

 

After breakfastbest point sightseeing tour in and around the capital city of Sikkim, covering Hanuman Tak,Ganesh Tak,Tashi view Point ( These three points are famous for watching beautiful view on Mt Kanchenjunga) Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms, Enchay Monastery, Banjhakri Falls. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

 

 

After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

 

 

Morning transfer to Pelling (133kms/5hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a very small Himalayan Town in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motorable point of Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise along with view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in and around Pelling. In the fast half covering Rimbi Falls,  Rock Garden,  Sacred Kechodpalri Lake, and Kanchendzonga Falls. After lunch followed bythe second half of the days sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim), Rabdantsay Ruins (2^nd Capital of Sikkim) & Sunset Point Overnight at hotel.
