Day 01: Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok

Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (117kms/4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim . Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Early morning visit Hanuman Tak,Ganesh Tak,Tashi view Point(These three points are famous for watching beautiful early morning view on Mt Kanchenjunga).After breakfast best point sightseeing tour in and around the capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms along with Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Center (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kargyupa Sect – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake ( Changu Lake ) & Baba Mandir

After breakfast half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel. Optional tour is, Nathula the Indo-Chaina border is 20 kms. from Tsomgo lake (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only)

Day 04: Gangtok to Pelling

Morning transfer to Pelling (133kms/5hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft, Pelling is a very small Himalayan Town in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motorable point of Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise along with view of the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in and around Pelling. In the fast half covering Rimbi Falls, Rock Garden, Sacred Kechodpalri Lake, and Kanchendzonga Falls. After lunch followed bythe second half of the days sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery (the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim), Rabdantsay Ruins (2^nd Capital of Sikkim) & Sunset Point Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Pelling to Darjeeling

Morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (128kms/5hrs).Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 :Darjeeling Best points Sightseeing

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Darjeeling to Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

After breakfast departure Transfer to IXB/NJP (80kms/3hrs), Tour End.

So it is requested to follow the time given for local sightseeing and transfers properly â–ºThere are 08 numbers of Joy Ride services in Darjeeling. Joy Ride tour covers Darjeeling – Ghoom – Darjeeling ( 14 Kms) route and takes almost two hours to complete . Joy ride starts at 8 AM in the morning. Trains run by Diesel Engine and Steam Engine respectively. â€‹ â–º Darjeeling to Gangtok takes 4.30 to 5 Hrs â–ºDarjeeling and Ropeway timings are 10 AM to 2 PM in season and 10 AM to 4 PM in off season. â–ºIf Vehicle is to be kept waiting for Ropeway ridings in Darjeeling & Gangtok, then halting charge will be extra â–ºHMI and ZOO are closed on Thursday.
